The Inquiry into the CPO's and SRO's will, unfortunately, require up to £100,000!! This is to pay for a barrister and expert witnesses. Dorset County Council will have huge resources - much more than that. It is VITAL that we match them.

We therefore hope you can give generously.

Any money that is not used will be paid to Transport 2000, Campaign for the Protection of Rural England, Friends of the Earth and the Woodland Trust - equally distributed. This is because this whole campaign has been a team effort involving all these agencies.

Another very useful thing.... - it would be very helpful if you could put this 'signature' on the bottom of each email and letter you send to literally anyone - so we can attract more people and donations: "STOP the Weymouth Relief Road - visit www.bypassthebypass.org - and pass this on to as many as possible".

As mentioned on the Home page - for emails, this can be done (Outlook Express) by going to Tools/Options/Signatures - then New etc. This can then be automatically put on every email.
